Custom software, without the enterprise price tag.
Most dev shops start at $50k and climb fast. We scope engagements to the actual problem — an MVP, an internal tool, an integration layer, a full product — so small and mid-size businesses get software built right without enterprise budgets.
What we build
Web applications
Customer portals, dashboards, booking systems, SaaS products — anything your customers or your team reach through a browser. Web apps are the workhorse of small-business software: nothing to install, works on every device, and one codebase to maintain.
We build customer-facing apps that are polished enough to win business, and internal apps that put function first — integrations, data, and speed over decoration. Different jobs, different priorities. We know which is which.
Mobile apps
iOS and Android apps for your customers, your field team, or your crew on the shop floor.
Here’s the honest version of the native-vs-cross-platform conversation most shops skip:
- Cross-platform (React Native, Flutter) — one codebase runs on both iPhone and Android. Faster to build, cheaper to maintain, and more than good enough for the vast majority of business apps. This is where most of our clients land, and we’ll tell you if you’re one of them.
- Native (Swift, Kotlin) — a separate app per platform. Best raw performance and deepest access to device hardware, at roughly double the build cost. Worth it for some apps; unnecessary for most.
We recommend based on what your app needs to do — not on what pads the invoice.
Desktop Applications
Some work still belongs on a real computer: point-of-sale, warehouse and inventory stations, data-heavy back-office tools, software that must run when the internet doesn’t. We build modern Windows and Mac applications — and cross-platform desktop apps that share code with your web app, so you’re not paying for the same features twice.
Internal tools
The admin panel your team wishes existed. The scheduling board that replaces the whiteboard. The quoting tool that replaces the 40-tab spreadsheet. Internal tools are the highest-ROI software most businesses ever buy — small in scope, huge in hours saved.
APIs & integrations
Your accounting system, your CRM, your inventory, your website — talking to each other automatically instead of through a person retyping data. We build the connective tissue commercial software leaves out.
How we work
Our process
- Discovery — free. You describe the problem in plain language. We ask questions until we understand it better than you expect us to. No commitment, no charge.
- Scope & quote — in writing. We break the project into concrete features, estimate each one, and give you deliverables, timeline, and a fixed price before anything starts. If a phased approach gets you value sooner, we’ll propose that too — a working version 1 beats a perfect version never.
- Design before code. A short design pass — what screens exist, how data flows, what the architecture looks like. An hour of planning here saves days of rework later, and you’ll see and approve the plan before we build it.
- Build & demo. Working software at every check-in. You’ll click through real features every step, not read status reports about them.
- Launch & support. We deploy it, document it, and stay available after launch. You own the code — no lock-in, no hostage situations.
Why it works for SMBs
Software that fits your business – and your budget
Off-the-shelf software makes you bend your process to fit it. Custom software bends to fit you — and when you’re scoped honestly, it costs less than years of subscriptions for tools that only do 70% of the job.
We also build for the long haul: boring, proven technology; code your next developer can read; and nothing so clever it can’t be maintained.
